WHO IS JIM WOOLLEY ?
Jim Woolley grew up in Etobicoke with his home parish being St. Matthias.  Following graduation from Wycliffe College in 1971, he served as Assistant Curate at St. Clement's, Eglinton.  From 1975 to 1980, he was the Incumbent of the parish of Stayner and Wasaga Beach.   While in Stayner, Jim met Cathy and they married in 1977.  On January 1, 1981, Jim began his ministry at St. Thomas a Becket Church in the Erin Mills area of Mississauga where he recently retired as the incumbent.

Their two daughters have now graduated from Sheridan College.

In 1966, Jim was honoured by the Diocese when he was named a Canon of St. James Cathedral.

For many years, he has served on the Diocesan Planning and Development Board and the Trusts Committee of the Diocese.  He is one of the volunteer Credit Valley Hospital chaplains, taking a turn on the roster for worship services and for carrying the pager.

Since the mid eighties he has been a director of AWRS, acting as one of the Vice-chairs for some 10 years before becoming Chair in February 2004.
