Gladys McClellan has been a member of both rural and urban parishes in the Diocese of Toronto.

She has been involved in many volunteer positions in the community at large and in the Anglican Church Community.  At the Diocesan level, some of the areas where she has served have been as a member of Synod, the former Executive Committee, the Program Resources Board, the Treasury Board and the Anglican Church Women Board where she served as president for three years.  She also served for six years on the Audit Committee of the Anglican Church of Canada.  She has continued to serve in a variety of ways in her parish.

Gladys has recently retired as the Chair of the Board of Directors of LOFT Community Services, an organization which provides supportive housing, outreach and community support services to vulnerable and homeless people at  50 sites in the Greater Toronto Area and York Region.

Currently, Gladys is a member of the Team in the Diocese of Toronto which responds to allegations of Sexual Misconduct and she is a Director and Vice Chair of AWRS.

Gladys also finds time to spend on her other interests; gardening, sewing, reading, camping, traveling, and especially family.  She and her husband are blessed with a daughter and son and their partners and five grandsons.
